A noon fire yesterday razed the top fourth floor of the Eagle Nest, the guest house belonging to the Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Delta state founded by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The fire, reportedly noticed at about 12:55pm following
close of the second church service, took joint response by the men of the Delta
State, SPDC and NNPC fire units to put out.
Pastor Victor Abraham, stated that at, "At 12:55pm
today (yesterday), top floor of the "Eagle Nest Guest House" caught
fire. Please note, no life was lost and no injuries to members or personnel,
damages are only on the top floor."
Cause of the fire was yet to be established at the time of
filling this report.
