Google highlighted Earth Day in Monday’s search doodle. A simple animation, it loops through a day night cycle, which then cycles through the various seasons and stages in between each season.
The viewer can interact with the graphic by clicking small elements: if you click the flowers in the back during spring, they bloom. If you click the clouds during winter it snows.
The whole thing cycles for about five minutes before returning to its starting state of late spring/early summer.
