Angola: Ministry to run Environment Fair




The International Environmental Technologies Fair called “Ambiente Angola” will take place from May 31 to June 2 this year in Luanda, Angop learned.


According to a press release that reached Angop on Monday, the event will be jointly organised by the Ministry of Environment and the Luanda International Fair (FIL).
 
The note further states that the event will go with the theme “Promotion of Environmental Technologies in the Management of Solid, Liquid and Gas Wastes”

The fair is intended to stimulate and raise the consciousness about energetic matters, the access to energetic availability and efficiency, sustainability and use of sources of energy in attaining goals and expanding the access to clean energy at low prices toward the millennium development and increasing the knowledge of environmental products, services and technologies and creating the conditions for their implementation in the country.

According to the source, the event is also intended to pave a common path for local and foreign specialists, suppliers of environmental Technologies, business partners, local institutions and citizens in the search of a common ground towards a “Greener Angola”.

The “Ambiente Angola” Fair will be attended by specialists from Portugal, Brazil, China, South Africa, Nigeria, Spain, France and German
